Asda terror ... three men attack 59-year-old female shopper in supermarket car park but attempted car-jacking foiled ... moments later another woman attacked nearby and her car is stolen
A WOMAN was injured after being attacked by three suspected car-jackers outside an Asda supermarket.
The 59-year-old was returning to her Mini Cooper in Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, when she was allegedly assaulted.
One witness described how three hooded men, dressed in black, punched and kicked her around 8.15am today [APRIL 4, 2018].
The woman's car key was stolen but the men did not take the car and fled on foot.
Shortly afterwards, a 37-year-old woman was targeted in a similar incident in Murrayfield, a street across from the supermarket.
She was also assaulted and robbed of her Renault Clio but was uninjured. The car was later recovered.
The 59-year-old was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where she was treated for a hand injury but later released.
Police Scotland say that three men aged 20, 30 and 44 have been arrested.
